Email is a quick, cheap and easy way to communicate. This makes email a great business tool. Thousands of emails are sent by companies each day. However, with this convenience comes a threat for employers. Email threats such as confidentiality breaches, legal liability, and viruses cost companies millions of dollars each year.


How can your company protect itself?
The simple way would be to ban email completely. There are huge practical implications in doing this. In todays society this is dramatically becoming an impossible task. There must be a better solution. There is - use an Email disclaimer. Email disclaimers are statements that are added to then end or the beginning of every email sent.
