  • 1 CPD Point – Professional Skills

Dealing with government regulators like the ATO or ASIC and various licensing authorities is an integral part of carrying on any business. When confronted by these regulators, clients often turn to their professional advisers for assistance, so knowing the best way to interact with regulators is an invaluable skill for advisers, accountants and lawyers.

In this presentation, Martin McCoy draws on his experience both as an ATO Officer, and as a lawyer in private practice, to provide some tips on how to make the experience of dealing with regulators more productive and the best approach to get a favourable outcome.

The presentation is particularly topical because some regulators (the ATO in particular), who have been largely “dormant” throughout COVID, are starting to gear up for a “business as usual” approach.

This webinar is suitable for lawyers, accountants and other professional advisers and is pitched at an intermediate level. It is ideal for all professionals and business owners.
