Sammy Syed

Sammy is a Senior Manager in the Perth Tax Services division. Sammy has a broad spectrum of business and tax knowledge, focusing on all aspects of his client’s affairs, including exposure to business structure reviews, different aspects of CGT including concessions and rollovers. He looks to achieve measurable growth and improve financial performance of the businesses he works with in addition to providing specialist tax solutions.
Sammy’s experience includes advising and servicing clients primarily in the small-medium enterprise space and high net worth individuals. He has also been providing advisory services on specialist tax matters to the regional offices within RSM. Prior to joining RSM, Sammy was with Nexia Perth for over 10 years in the Business Advisory Division where he commenced his career as a graduate progressing through to a Senior Client Manager.
Catherine Davidson
Senior Manager, Perth Tax Services, RSM
Catherine is a Senior Manager in the Perth Tax Services division at RSM Australia. Catherine has extensive experience advising privately owned businesses, family groups and high-net-worth individuals on complex taxation matters as well as managing clients through ATO audits and reviews, including the Top 500 program. Her areas of expertise include income tax issues, trust structures and succession planning, with a strong focus on delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
Catherine works closely with business owners and family groups to support long term growth, governance and family wealth transfer. Her experience spans tax compliance and advisory services for companies and trusts, business structuring and restructuring, and managing tax issues arising from ownership changes and business transitions. Known for her clear communication style and attention to detail, Catherine collaborates closely with clients and advisers to ensure tax outcomes align with commercial and family objectives.
