Presenters Adam Somerville-Brown and Elyce Lines
Adam Somerville-Brown, Consultant, Kim Wilson & Co
Adam is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and is known for his efficiency and ability to achieve timely and amicable resolutions. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia and is a member of the Family Law Practitioners' Association of WA and the Law Society of WA.
Adam has assisted and represented clients across the spectrum of Family Law issues with a special focus on more substantial and complex property settlement cases and parenting disputes. He has extensive experience in negotiations including Mediations and represents clients at all stages of litigation including Interim Hearings, Conferences and Trials.
Adam is a consultant author for the CCH Database providing legal commentary on Family Law and is also a casual lecturer for the College of Law teaching other Lawyers in the field of Family Law.
Elyce Lines, Associate, Kim Wilson & Co
Elyce was admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2015. Since then Elyce has worked as a Lawyer exclusively in the Family Law area. She is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia.
Prior to being admitted as a Lawyer, Elyce had several years' experience as a Law Clerk/Paralegal in both private firms and government departments, allowing her to develop an understanding of Family Law from the ground up. Through her varied roles, Elyce has assisted in providing Legal Services across all areas of Family Law including Child Welfare, Property Settlement, Child Support and Spousal Maintenance.
